Liver Pâté

This recipe for Liver Pâté is proven for 20 years and it always goes well especially for something people won’t normally eat!

Instructions

Cut up livers and sauté in butter over moderate heat until cooked through. Add onion, celery, and green pepper. Cook 2 minutes longer. Put all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Pour into bowl and chill.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¾ pound chicken or beef liver
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup diced onions
  • ¾ tsp paprika
  • 1/3 cup water or less for smooth texture
  • ¼ cup celery, diced
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 cup green pepper, diced
  • 3 hardboiled eggs
