EDIBLE FLOWER AND HERB SPREAD

Use edible flowers like pansies, nasturtiums, calendula and lavender buds along with fresh herbs to make this delicious and colorful appetizer spread.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp chopped edible flower petals
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh herbs like mint, basil, oregano or sage
  • 1 shallot, very finely chopped
  • 8 ounces of Montrachet goat cheese, room temperature
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, room temperature

Instructions

Using an electric mixer, blend the flowers, herbs, shallot, goat cheese and cream cheese until combined. Serve mixture in a small bowl or pipe into whole nasturtium flowers or on crackers.
