This applesauce cake recipe is simple to make and easy to enjoy!
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup chopped nutmeats
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
Cream butter, add sugar, beat until light. Add egg and applesauce. Add dry ingredients and mix. Add raisins and chopped nuts. Pour into 9” x 13” pan lined with greased paper. 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes
