Mike Shaw

Mike Shaw has been a writer/reporter, freelance or full-time, for 33 years including a decade at the Door County Advocate and a stint as editor of the local biweekly. Mike grew up outside De Pere and came to the Peninsula 28 years ago after working at three other newspapers: the Beloit Daily News and both sides of what was then a Green Bay paper war between the Press-Gazette and the now-extinct News-Chronicle. Mike also writes sports, entertainment and occasional news pieces for the Advocate and contributes regular restaurant features to Door County Magazine.
